The Israeli-born actress initially struggled with acting in English due to her lack of an American accent, which made her self-conscious. According to her interview with GQ, she used to force herself to sound more American and was hesitant to own her natural accent. However, her dialect coach advised her to embrace her accent as long as she could communicate effectively, which eventually led her to feel liberated.
