Gal Gadot looks lovely on the red carpet in a blue outfit
The spotlight is on Gal Gadot this weekend as the new Wonder Woman blockbuster adaptation hits theaters. The two-time mother and Israeli actress already exudes the poise and tenacity of Diana of Themyscira in real life. Still, on the recent press tour for the movie, she made a splash by fusing a little of the character’s energy into her attire. Working with her stylist, Elizabeth Stewart, Gadot has made a statement with outfits that evoke the character’s remarkable bravery.
Consider the outfit Gadot wore to launch the press tour at the movie’s Shanghai premiere in May. She opted for a vivid blue David Koma gown with eyelet detailing, a thigh-high slit, and a skintight silhouette—a bold decision given that she had just given birth to daughter Maya eight weeks before. She also donned a red sequin cut-out Givenchy from Riccardo Tisci’s retrospective collection to the Los Angeles show, which was equally daring. Gadot’s flat gladiator sandals and the Grecian-inspired design gave the outfit a suitable nod to Diana’s beginnings.
Diana’s story also revolves around her prowess as a fighter, which is just as crucial to the plot as her divine heritage (Zeus is her father). At the Mexico City premiere, Gadot embodied the cruelty of her seasoned hero with an exceptional Prada ensemble.
After publishing a picture of Israeli actress Gal Gadot wearing a dress from their line, Lebanese clothing company Elie Saab received criticism. The ‘Wonder Woman’ wore a blue sash dress from the designer to the National Board of Review Awards Gala in this city earlier this week.
The “flawless” actress was pictured on Elie Saab’s Instagram page wearing the label’s Ready-to-Wear Spring Summer 2018 collection.
