Larson expressed her gratitude for standing with her “fellow superhero Gal” and Weaver, who she described as the trailblazer who paved the way for them, citing Weaver’s iconic role as Ellen Ripley in the 1979 sci-fi/horror classic Alien.

Both Larson and Gadot made appearances in the Netflix comedy Between Two Ferns: The Movie, with Larson also starring in the drama Just Mercy.
Larson is confirmed to return for a sequel to Captain Marvel, while Gadot is busy filming Red Notice alongside Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds.
