Breaking News: Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman 3″ Cancelled – Here’s What We Know So Far!
Gadot had previously expressed her confidence in Gunn and Safran’s assurance that the movie would be brought to fruition.
Gal Gadot’s hopes for a third ‘Wonder Woman’ movie have been dashed as it is no longer in development, despite Gadot expressing her desire to do another movie. Although the Israeli actress was previously assured by DCU heads James Gunn and Peter Safran that a ‘Wonder Woman 3’ would be made, it has now been revealed that there were never any promises made and neither do Gunn or Safran have any plans to develop a movie based on the character.
Currently, the duo are focused on developing a completely new version of DC with films such as ‘Superman: Legacy’ and ‘Batman: The Brave and the Bold’. It’s possible that part of the reason why Gadot’s project was scrapped is because of the executives’ decision to start fresh and create a whole new DC universe.
Fans were also upset when they learned of Gadot’s potential return as Wonder Woman, while other actors like Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Jason Momoa had walked away from their respective roles.
